A little about me

Stories have always felt like home.

Josephine Elisabeth is the pen name of Kristina Carter, a storyteller whose imagination has been crafting tales since childhood, playing with Barbies in the cornfields of Illinois.

Her debut series of sweet romance was published from 2015–2022. With Rewriting Yesterday, she steps into science-fiction and dystopian territory while keeping the emotional heart that has always been part of her stories.

She lives in rural Illinois with her husband, three children, a herd of cats, an energetic Chihuahua, and a lovable but overweight Pomeranian.
